 “About The Maison des Garçons".

The Maison des Garçons is a luxury hand-crafted candle collection inspired by the Connecticut experience. The founders Erick Vittorino and Othon Dutra designed each scent from their Westport cottage in 2020, and the duo’s creative and artistic backgrounds resulted in 4 carefully chosen fragrances that encapsulate the New England charm.

Maison des Garçons candle collection with only 4 scents, is heavily inspired by each part of their cottage, where they often host and entertain family and friends. 

The ‘Aristocrat’ scent takes you to fresh cut roses, black currant, and bergamot. Inspired by their living room, nicknamed ‘Aristocrat’, where they share late conversations and cocktails on summer days, The Aristocrat is a cozy, elegant (but always fun) experience. 

‘Cottage’ is the coastal feeling encapsulated. Consisted of fresh figs and winter mint, this scent transports you to Erick and Othon’s transcendent garden. 

‘Terrace,’ with hints of grapefruit and rosemary, was inspired by the founders’ under the vines terrace. With the burn of the wick, ‘Terrace’ accompanies you to long Sunday evenings, enjoying Frutti Di Mare pasta with family and friends. 

Lastly, Veranda’ is the perfect combination of Vittorino’s and Dutra’s diverse backgrounds; the scent is made out of Tangerine and lemongrass. The citric element is the unique international, sophisticated experience that ties the enchanting New England feeling together.

 The founders carefully created each candle scent formula with the customers’ experience in mind. The duo’s combination of their creative and artistic experiences resulted in a brand that reflectes their dedication, art, beauty and commitment to sustainability.
